Established in 2014, Photolux Limited is owned and run by passionate photographers Matt and Paul.  

Matt, a part-time school teacher, originally came up with the idea of setting up an event photography business with a former teaching colleague. The idea arose from the frustration they felt when organising their own school proms: ‘Why are students being charged unfair prices for their prom photographs?’ So it was decided to put together a business that would provide professional-quality photography whilst offering good value for money. 

 

This formula has proven to be very popular and we now work with a large number of schools for which we are their 'go-to' business for their prom photography needs. 

 

In 2015 we expanded our services to include photobooth hire for weddings, parties and other corporate events. We applied our same business principles to these new markets - professional photography at affordable prices. 

 

More recently, Paul has joined Photolux, allowing for a further enhanced range of services to be offered. Paul is a full-time professional photographer specialising in wedding, residential, commercial and drone imagery. Examples of his work can be seen at www.screenphotography.co.uk 

 

Serving the East Midlands we pride ourselves on the work we do and ensure our customers are always satisfied. We are reliable, efficient and professional at all times and nothing is too much trouble. We will always try to accommodate the needs of our customers to ensure they receive the service they require and deserve. All of our equipment is modern and of a professional standard, using Elinchrom studio lighting, Canon professional series cameras and lenses to our photo-lab quality dye-sub printers. 

We are fully insured, CRB/DBS checked and all of our equipment is PAT tested.
